House Project Week 38

  This week more furniture came and was built and more moving in and taking down my old bedroom. 

My Old Bedroom


Look at these empty shelves. They have been moved to the new house. 


That's a very empty closet. 



Those walls are naked. Lots of posters used to cover the walls. 



More stuff to figure out what to do with. Some of it may not fit in the house. m

Porta Potty Is Gone 

Last Sunday out of the blue, the Porta Potty was taken away. Looks a lot better with it gone now. 

More Furniture Came and was Built This Past Week 
New kitchen table, other one was too small and took it back.
Taller Shelves are from my old bedroom, Coffee table and cabinet with the airplane and the cabinets with doors by the window are new. Look at that good boy laying on the carpet.  

New Drawers In Bedroom
New nightstand by bed.

Behind couch was the temp table that I was using this past week.

Welcome Mat
I like my new welcome mat, with the paw prints. Shows that I'm a dog person and that there is a dog in the house. 
Family History In The House
This plant grew from starts that my Great Grandma Copeland my Mom's Grandma on her dad's side of the family. These starts were past down through the generations. From Great Grandma to Mom's Mom and Dad, to her and now to me. 
This piano cabinet is from the early 1900s my great grandma Taylor my Grandma's Mom on Mom's side of the family bought it and brought it when they moved to Washington State. Once great grandma past away, it went to my grandma, then to Mom and now I have it. This piano cabinet is over 100 years old.

 This Week: Start filling shelves, figuring out what to do with stuff from the closet and anything else still in my old bedroom. 
As of right now, the more stuff that we do in the house, it's starting to feel like home, hopefully in a couple of weeks once the house is in good shape, we'll have an open house to show our friends who have seen it when it was being built and even some of my former coworkers and Supervisor from WorkSource want to come see it and give me house warming presents.

House Project Week 39

This week the hot water tank was fixed thank goodness, cleaned up more of my old bedroom and got more of the house all set to go by filling up shelving in Living Room and Bedroom. My Old Bedroom The bed and drawer have been removed from my old bedroom and we sold the bed and somebody took the drawer as well. Now I just need to get the rest of my stuff out of there and that room will be empty. Shelves in Living Room All of this stuff used to be in shelves in my old bedroom and now they are now on display in the living room.  Bedroom Shelving My bedroom shelves have been loaded up as well. Look at all of those legos on display as well. The house is really starting to feel like a home. Coat Rack in Garage Dad installed a coat rack in the garage so we can hang up our coats or we can use the closet by the front door as well.  Mats on Stairs. House Project Week 42

  This week my old bedroom got prepped for painting, and grass was sprayed all around the new house.  Old Bedroom Prep No Photos My old bedroom was prep for painting, sanding, getting tape around the trim and windows and making sure that the walls were all cleaned off. Grass Landscaping Grass was sprayed all around the house yesterday. Most of the photos were taken looking out most of the windows. They will be grass mostly around the house besides by the garage and front door areas.   This Week: The grass will need to be watered twice a day, my old bedroom will be repainted white, the Trendmill will be built at some point and start prepping for an open house for the new house,
