House Project Week 34

 This week more lights were all set to go, floor transitions installed, more prep work got done and cleanup is underway as well. 

 Lights Under The Cabinets In The Kitchen



These Lights are very bright and Mom likes them better than the lights in the kitchen in the other house. These all turn on with just 1 switch. 

Dining Room Table Lights


The Dining Room Table Lights are working now. The dining room table which will go under the lights here will be a round table. 

Floor Transitions


The floor transitions were installed as well. We only needed three of them, 2 for the bathrooms (1 for each one) and one for the laundry room. 

Address Sign
The address sign is up now and it's correct, the missing 1 is there. 

Front Stair Handrail

The front stair handrail was installed and painted. 

Garage Lights
Just a temporary light, testing to make sure that the power works. 

The outside garage lights work now.

The two garages with the lights on. The outside lights are the same for both garages and new house. 

Cleanup 

Cleanup has started in the house as well. The living floor and island were a big mess. Exciting news to share as well.


This Week: Getting closer to finishing the house. Sounds like we can start moving in soon. Maybe next weekend. Depends how much gets done this next week or the move in the week after that. We are now spiriting to the finish line.

House Project Week 39

This week the hot water tank was fixed thank goodness, cleaned up more of my old bedroom and got more of the house all set to go by filling up shelving in Living Room and Bedroom. My Old Bedroom The bed and drawer have been removed from my old bedroom and we sold the bed and somebody took the drawer as well. Now I just need to get the rest of my stuff out of there and that room will be empty. Shelves in Living Room All of this stuff used to be in shelves in my old bedroom and now they are now on display in the living room.  Bedroom Shelving My bedroom shelves have been loaded up as well. Look at all of those legos on display as well. The house is really starting to feel like a home. Coat Rack in Garage Dad installed a coat rack in the garage so we can hang up our coats or we can use the closet by the front door as well.  Mats on Stairs. House Project Week 42

  This week my old bedroom got prepped for painting, and grass was sprayed all around the new house.  Old Bedroom Prep No Photos My old bedroom was prep for painting, sanding, getting tape around the trim and windows and making sure that the walls were all cleaned off. Grass Landscaping Grass was sprayed all around the house yesterday. Most of the photos were taken looking out most of the windows. They will be grass mostly around the house besides by the garage and front door areas.   This Week: The grass will need to be watered twice a day, my old bedroom will be repainted white, the Trendmill will be built at some point and start prepping for an open house for the new house,
