House Project Week 20

 This week the floor was completed, the cabinets and island were installed, electrical work was started, and part of the driveway was poured. 

                                                                      Saturday

Here is the island in the kitchen, it was installed before the floor was installed. Easier to install it when the island is in place. 


The secondary bedroom floor is done.

Monday


The floor was completed in the kitchen, living room and dining room, plus cabinets were started to get installed.  

   Tuesday

The floor was installed on the stairs that lead from the house to the garage and vice versa. 

Wednesday
Electrical work was started. 

Light by front door.

Switches were started to get installed. 
 
Outlets were getting installed as well. 





Vent was installed in the laundry room. 









Light by side door to garage. 

2 lights by garage door. Similar to the new garage that was built last year. 
Here is a picture of the garage for a reference. 

Thursday
Door bell by front door was installed.




The handles were getting installed on all the cabinets. 

Light was installed in both the bathrooms.


Lights in master bedroom. 


Switch covers were getting installed as well. 
 
Friday






First 7 images show our street packed with vehicles because they were pouring part of the driveway. 

smoke detector was installed. 

Bathroom cabinet is all done. 

Vent was installed in the secondary bedroom. 



Next 3 images show the driveway that was poured. This is by the garage and connects to the main road and the garage of the new house. More will be poured at a later date. 

Island is all set to go.

Other Bathroom cabinet is good to go. 

Bonus
New kitchen lights in the main house. These placed the one that got broken when the cabinets were installed last year. These lights will also go above the island in the new house. 

New lights above the ceiling in the master house in the kitchen.

This Week: Continue work on the electrical and get the countertops installed.

House Project Week 39

This week the hot water tank was fixed thank goodness, cleaned up more of my old bedroom and got more of the house all set to go by filling up shelving in Living Room and Bedroom. My Old Bedroom The bed and drawer have been removed from my old bedroom and we sold the bed and somebody took the drawer as well. Now I just need to get the rest of my stuff out of there and that room will be empty. Shelves in Living Room All of this stuff used to be in shelves in my old bedroom and now they are now on display in the living room.  Bedroom Shelving My bedroom shelves have been loaded up as well. Look at all of those legos on display as well. The house is really starting to feel like a home. Coat Rack in Garage Dad installed a coat rack in the garage so we can hang up our coats or we can use the closet by the front door as well.  Mats on Stairs. House Project Week 42

  This week my old bedroom got prepped for painting, and grass was sprayed all around the new house.  Old Bedroom Prep No Photos My old bedroom was prep for painting, sanding, getting tape around the trim and windows and making sure that the walls were all cleaned off. Grass Landscaping Grass was sprayed all around the house yesterday. Most of the photos were taken looking out most of the windows. They will be grass mostly around the house besides by the garage and front door areas.   This Week: The grass will need to be watered twice a day, my old bedroom will be repainted white, the Trendmill will be built at some point and start prepping for an open house for the new house,
