House Project Week 16

 This week more work was done on the drywall, siding, trim were completed and the two porches were completed as well. 

                                                                      Monday



The water meter was installed. This was where the big green pipe was. See image below.


   Tuesday













The trim was installed around all the exterior doors, windows, porches and power box. 

Wednesday



Work was started on the siding (by the front door and the back of the house) and putting trex deck on the front and back porch. 

Thursday







More work was done on the siding (all around the garage was done, most of the siding that we can see from out kitchen window as almost done, and the arborvitae side of the house). 

Friday
More trim was delivered (This is the trim for the inside of the house). 








The siding and the two porches are all done.

This Weekend: Pick out paint colors, garage door, countertops for the kitchen and bathrooms, flooring for the house (which is already picked out) and front cabinet colors. Instead of telling you the decisions next week, I will post pictures of then there are getting installed to give you all a better idea.    
This Week: Finish drywall, then start flooring (Which should be coming this week), and maybe start painting the interior or exterior of the house.

House Project Week 39

This week the hot water tank was fixed thank goodness, cleaned up more of my old bedroom and got more of the house all set to go by filling up shelving in Living Room and Bedroom. My Old Bedroom The bed and drawer have been removed from my old bedroom and we sold the bed and somebody took the drawer as well. Now I just need to get the rest of my stuff out of there and that room will be empty. Shelves in Living Room All of this stuff used to be in shelves in my old bedroom and now they are now on display in the living room.  Bedroom Shelving My bedroom shelves have been loaded up as well. Look at all of those legos on display as well. The house is really starting to feel like a home. Coat Rack in Garage Dad installed a coat rack in the garage so we can hang up our coats or we can use the closet by the front door as well.  Mats on Stairs. House Project Week 42

  This week my old bedroom got prepped for painting, and grass was sprayed all around the new house.  Old Bedroom Prep No Photos My old bedroom was prep for painting, sanding, getting tape around the trim and windows and making sure that the walls were all cleaned off. Grass Landscaping Grass was sprayed all around the house yesterday. Most of the photos were taken looking out most of the windows. They will be grass mostly around the house besides by the garage and front door areas.   This Week: The grass will need to be watered twice a day, my old bedroom will be repainted white, the Trendmill will be built at some point and start prepping for an open house for the new house,
