Driveway Week 3

Driveway Week 3 

This week the driveway poject continued. More prep work was done on the driveway plus some landscaping was done as well.

Sunday
Mom and Dad fixed our patio for now. They made it more accessful from the driveway to the house. 


Monday





Gravel was laid down as the first step to making the new driveway. With the gravel now, it marks where the new driveway will be now.
They also made a path to our garage that will be turned into a sidewalk. It will connect to the new patio and connect to the new driveway as well. 

Wednesday 
They dug more by the road and this time made a connection to the water pipes. This green pipe is the marker where the water meter will go once the new house is built on the new property.
Friday



Landscaping was started on Friday and will contunie at somepoint. Couldn't find all the plants that we wanted. 

Upcoming
This Week: Hopefully finish the driveway this week and wrap this part of the project up. 
Couple of Weeks: We have someone lined up to do the sidewalk (concerte) that will connect the patio to the garage and driveway.
Hopefully Soon: Start work on the fence. Dad met with fence people this past week and currently waiting for estimates.

House Project Week 39

This week the hot water tank was fixed thank goodness, cleaned up more of my old bedroom and got more of the house all set to go by filling up shelving in Living Room and Bedroom. My Old Bedroom The bed and drawer have been removed from my old bedroom and we sold the bed and somebody took the drawer as well. Now I just need to get the rest of my stuff out of there and that room will be empty. Shelves in Living Room All of this stuff used to be in shelves in my old bedroom and now they are now on display in the living room.  Bedroom Shelving My bedroom shelves have been loaded up as well. Look at all of those legos on display as well. The house is really starting to feel like a home. Coat Rack in Garage Dad installed a coat rack in the garage so we can hang up our coats or we can use the closet by the front door as well.  Mats on Stairs. House Project Week 42

  This week my old bedroom got prepped for painting, and grass was sprayed all around the new house.  Old Bedroom Prep No Photos My old bedroom was prep for painting, sanding, getting tape around the trim and windows and making sure that the walls were all cleaned off. Grass Landscaping Grass was sprayed all around the house yesterday. Most of the photos were taken looking out most of the windows. They will be grass mostly around the house besides by the garage and front door areas.   This Week: The grass will need to be watered twice a day, my old bedroom will be repainted white, the Trendmill will be built at some point and start prepping for an open house for the new house,
