  Week 4 Update Week Four Update This week the Lights and Garage Door was moved from the old garage to the new one.  Lights  Here are some photos of the lights being installed and the last three of the lights in action at night. They provide a lot of light and it's easy to see the people door if we need to unlock the door. Moving of the Garage Door  The first two images are where the garage door used to be before the garage door was moved. Dad boarded up where the door was. We are getting closer to having the old garage taken down.  The next two images are the where the new garage door is now. At some point we will repaint the garage door and the trim to make it match better.      Here is now the garage door looks with the lights on. Now we can see where the driveway will hookup with the garage door now.  And for a minor bonus  The door hardware was installed as well. Week 3 Update Week Three Update This week the siding, trim, roof, person door and painting was completed. Wednesday They were able to get the siding trim and the roof done all in one day. The person door was also installed as well.  Thursday The painting was completed on the exterior of the garage. Its the same colors as the old garage. White siding, blue trim and a blue person door. Coming Soon Lights   The blue squares are where the lights will be installed. There will be three overall, two by the garage door and one by the person door.   Week Two Update This week, the concrete was poured and the structure of the garage was established as well.    Tuesday The Concrete was laid down. This shows how much higher the road will be to match up with the floor of the garage.   Wednesday They took the forms out and laid dirt around the foundation so they could walk up as close as they want and not fall into any holes. Thursday Here is the structure of the garage. It's very similar to the one garage with a couple of differences, one its turned 90 degrees and 2nd it doesn't have the small lean-to in the back, so we gain some space in the back of the garage.  And Now for a Added Bonus  They also dug a trench on Thursday as well, they need to put some pipes down here as well.  Upcoming This week:  Siding, roofing and painting will be started plus the side garage door not the overhang door will be installed as well.  .
