Prepping the yard

 These past two weekends, we cleaned up around the garage (gravel area and around the Maple Tree in back. We did this so vehicles could go into the backyard and allow access for the builders to build the garage. Also this is where the road will be in the future. Below are some before, during and after images of the cleanup project.


Before (This is before all the cleanup happened, note old garage will be torn down so there will be more space here in the future)

Most of the plants shown here need to be taken down, in the way of the new road and access to the backyard.

Great plants but in the way of the upcoming project. 


Will look a lot different when this is all cleaned up.

During (Here are some images of the cleanup in progress the past two weekends)
First weekend of the cleanup, Dad starting to cut down plant closet to the driveway.

This area was cleared up as well, so it's easier to get to the road.

The light blue building just past the plants belongs to our next door neighbour.

The black and green compost bins will need to be moved a little more backwards to make more space.

House Project Week 39

This week the hot water tank was fixed thank goodness, cleaned up more of my old bedroom and got more of the house all set to go by filling up shelving in Living Room and Bedroom. My Old Bedroom The bed and drawer have been removed from my old bedroom and we sold the bed and somebody took the drawer as well. Now I just need to get the rest of my stuff out of there and that room will be empty. Shelves in Living Room All of this stuff used to be in shelves in my old bedroom and now they are now on display in the living room.  Bedroom Shelving My bedroom shelves have been loaded up as well. Look at all of those legos on display as well. The house is really starting to feel like a home. Coat Rack in Garage Dad installed a coat rack in the garage so we can hang up our coats or we can use the closet by the front door as well.  Mats on Stairs. House Project Week 42

  This week my old bedroom got prepped for painting, and grass was sprayed all around the new house.  Old Bedroom Prep No Photos My old bedroom was prep for painting, sanding, getting tape around the trim and windows and making sure that the walls were all cleaned off. Grass Landscaping Grass was sprayed all around the house yesterday. Most of the photos were taken looking out most of the windows. They will be grass mostly around the house besides by the garage and front door areas.   This Week: The grass will need to be watered twice a day, my old bedroom will be repainted white, the Trendmill will be built at some point and start prepping for an open house for the new house,
