Driveway Week 3  This week the driveway poject  continued . More prep work was done on the driveway plus some landscaping was done as well. Sunday Mom and Dad fixed our patio for now. They made it more accessful from the driveway to the house.  Monday Gravel was laid down as the first step to making the new driveway. With the gravel now, it marks where the new driveway will be now. They also made a path to our garage that will be turned into a sidewalk. It will connect to the new patio and connect to the new driveway as well.  Wednesday  They dug more by the road and this time made a connection to the water pipes. This green pipe is the marker where the water meter will go once the new house is built on the new property. Friday Landscaping was started on Friday and will contunie at somepoint. Couldn't find all the plants that we wanted.  Upcoming This Week:  Hopefully finish the driveway this week and wrap this part of the project up.  C...

  Driveway Week 2  This week the driveway project continued . More plants were taken down and the part of the driveway was dug up as well.  Tuesday More plants and the garage enclosure was taken down on the right side of the driveway. This is where the new driveway will hookup to the existing driveway.  Thursday The main road that connects to our driveway plus part of our driveway was dug up so they could put a conduct that will service the property behind the garage.  The first 4 images Mom took showing all the different equipment that the crew used. We could not park in our driveway on Thursday, the road closed signs were to close off the road that day and they even put it to block our driveway.  This image shows why we couldn't park in our driveway. All the way down the middle of the driveway had a hole that divided it up. Friday The crew came back and filled in the hole, and we were able to park in the driveway again at the end of the day.   Driveway Week 1  This week we got the driveway project started. The garage was torn down, trees, plants and everything else was taken down. Plus they started building the new road. We are officially  moved into the new garage and it's complete. Sunday On Saturday and Sunday we were moving everything out of the new garage into the new one. First two images are the old garage after everything was taken out. Look how empty it is. These 2 images are the new garage after we finished moving everything in. Will be more organized soon. Monday The garage was torn down.  During and after the garage was torn down, looks so empty and different with it gone. Tuesday A good amount of trees and plants were taken down around the garage and by the side of the property line and the road was established.   Transition From Garage To Driveway  This week was getting ready to start work on the driveway which will officially  start on Monday. Not a lot of images this week, more to come next week. The new garage is officially  done.  Shelving that Dad built this past weekend, we have two against the wall in the back and one on the side close to the garage door.  Upcoming This weekend: Moving everything from the old garage to the new one, plus get the yard ready to start work on the driveway.  This week:  Driveway project will start on Monday (Sounds like they will take trees down first and maybe tear the old garage down next.   Will post another update next weekend about driveway progress and maybe one more update on the new garage and status on the old garage.
